20-year-old Nigerian Lady wins global award for being able to speak 11 foreign languages fluently, celebrates achievement

Favor Chisimdi Nwobodo, a remarkable 20-year-old Nigerian woman, made history by being fluent in 11 foreign languages without ever leaving her country.
Fluent in Korean, Swahili, Shona, Indonesian, Filipino, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, English and Igbo, Favor Chisimidi is a language prodigy. Never leaving Nigerian soil, she is capable of speaking all languages.

The 20-year-old prodigy is said to be fluent in Yoruba, a language widely spoken in southwestern Nigeria and other parts of Africa.

Language prodigy Favor Chisimidi is also aiming to become a medical doctor. She enrolled in the University of Nigeria to pursue her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
Favor Chisimidi describes her battle to master a language as being accompanied by a lot of tears, anxiety and doubts.

She marvelled at how she was able to impact the Linguistics sector. β€œWrote my first research article on Linguistics in Business (how Linguistics helps in making businesses thrive) which was submitted to Harvard Business Review,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
