Nwosu, the National Welfare Officer of the All Progressive Congress and a member of the National Working Committee, was reported dead on Friday.

The party’s leader, Nwosu, ran for governor of Abia on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party before defecting to the ruling APC.

The deceased legal badge was reportedly admitted to an undisclosed medical facility in the Federal Capital Territory before being released on Wednesday.

Nwosu reportedly returned to the same hospital for a routine checkup on Thursday, sources confirmed he had relapsed and had to be rushed to an intensive care unit, where he died.

His death shocked all members of the NWC, including APC National President Abdullahi Adamu. I am sure the Secretariat will release an official report tomorrow morning.”

At the time of filing this report, his remains were in the morgue.

At around 8:20 pm on the 20th, news of the death of an official from the welfare center was delivered through the APC official Twitter account.
