Governor of Enugu, Mbah has suspended all government accounts

The Governor of Enugu State, Barr Peter Mbah, has ordered the immediate freezing of all government bank accounts until further notice.

This directive is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. According to him, the directive will start on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

“Following the instructions given by the Governor of Enugu State to freeze government accounts in all banks in Enugu State, I order the immediate closure of Enugu State Government Accounts, until further notice.”
