Nigerian actress and comedienne Funke Akindele has recently replied a netizen who called her out for misuse of the English grammar on her twitter handle.
In spirit of Childrenβs Day yesterday, Funke Akindele took to her handle where she celebrated children worldwide. She labelled children as a gift from God. In her words
βChildren are a gift from God, they are a reward from him, happy childrenβs day to all our childrenβ.
A twitter user however called the attention of Funke who used Children as a countable noun instead of an uncountable noun, the user stated that she meant no disrespect but is expressing herself politely. Funke on seeing the tweet replied telling the user to help in removing the error noted in the grammar. In her words;
βOk sir, please remove it for me, thank you sirβ.
