Ogunbote commends Shooting Stars players performance against Enyimba

Shooting Stars manager, Gbenga Ogunbote has commended his players for their impressive performance in the 0-0 draw against Enyimba on Sunday.

The Oluyole Warriors put up a good showing in the encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

Ogunbote opined that despite the toughness of the game, the players stood their ground.

“It’s a commendable performance despite the importance of the game for Enyimba,” the gaffer told DAILY POST in Ibadan

“We were still very calm enough to stand strong and didn’t concede. We could have scored also but the draw isn’t a bad result.”

Shooting Stars finished the 2022/23 season on sixth position with 23 points.
